CS410 - Java Programming

Object oriented programming, using Java, Packages, Interfaces, Multi-threading, Classes, Inheritance, Exceptions, Interfaces, Applets
Prerequisite: CS400 OR Permission of the instructor.

Final Saturday, 10:00-12:30 12/13/97

Coordinator: Professor D. Lyon of Computer Engineering.

Please note: Since this is the first time the course is being offered, topic order will be modified, as needed.

Class attendance is required.

Goals: To teach Java Programming.

Topics (by week):

Computer Usage: Students must do several labs involving Web page design. Students may also choose this subject for senior project, CS/CpE 349, to pursue this topic in more detail.
