Flooding (variation)

• Selective Flooding
  • The IMPs do not send every incoming packet out on every line, only those lines that are going approximately in the right direction.
• Random Walk
  • The IMP simply picks a line at random and forwards the packet on it.
  • Also, the IMP can make some attempt to get the packet heading in roughly the right direction.
