Synchronous Xmission

Synchronous Xmission

For example, in self-clocking codes, (i.e.

FM-0, a biphase space code used in

localtalk) each bit cell contains a

transistion at each end that provides timing

information know as one bit-time.

Zeros are encoded by adding a transition at

midcell.

An alternative is to Xmit clock on a

different channel than the data (extra wire).
